Episode 1
Maggie Anderson – Nicky’s proud “Irish mammy” who joins her to watch some of Nicky’s old ballet videos at the start of the series.
Brian Seibert – Dance critic who writes regularly for the New York Times and the New Yorker.
Alexandra Waterbury – A student at the School of American Ballet from 2013 to 2016, who sued New York City Ballet in September 2018. We reached out to Alexandra but due to personal reasons, she was unable to participate in the documentary. These clips are from an interview recorded shortly after what happened.
Episode 2
Allegra Kent – One of the most famous American ballet dancers of all time who, after catching George Ballanchine’s eye at the School of American Ballet when she was just eleven years old, dominated the ballet stage for almost three decades.
Jim Steichen – Renowned musicologist, ballet historian and writer.

Kara Roseborough – Dancer, choreographer and historian whoalsoresearches the history of black and African diasporic people within ballet. You can find her blog Black Voices in Dance here.
